The Second Food Line is Open, Part 5: “PSA!”

Four score and seven years ago, or in-between then and now, our various food service directors brought forth upon this nation a collection of unfathomable wealth. Fancy cut yams, SO MUCH TEA, chips, baked goods, and some very strange sauces.

The world may little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they purchased here as long as these items sit unused on our pantry shelves.

As we are dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal, we again wish to bestow upon ALL staff the collective bounty of our store rooms. While most items are expired, the things we have sat on the front counter are still in excellent condition; we can just no longer serve them to campers.

Please take to your homes this wonderful bounty, so that these dried and canned goods may not have been packaged in vain.

And yes, as any good homeschooler I was forced to memorize the Gettysburg Address. I knew it would be useful one day.
